Hi friend, My grandsons are coming to visit us for the weekend, so I probably won't be online much the next couple days. So I wanted to send you this email before they get here to say hi👋👋 Every year around this time, I start thinking about Thanksgiving and my favorite sweet potato casserole, the one that’s earned a permanent spot on our Thanksgiving table. 🍠Is it a side dish? Or is it dessert? I grew up with the marshmallow version, and I loved that slightly burnt marshmallow goodness, but when I hosted for the first time years ago, I tried something new with a pecan topping. To my surprise, it quickly became everyone’s favorite (even my mom’s!). It’s funny how new traditions form and how God uses even simple things like food and family gatherings to remind us of His goodness. This recipe always makes me pause and thank Him for how far He’s brought me and for the people I get to share life with. 💛 You can find the recipe here if you’d like to add it to your own Thanksgiving menu: And if you happen to have leftovers (rare, but it happens), they’re pretty amazing with a cup of coffee the next morning. If you make this recipe, I’d love to hear how it turned out! Leave a comment below or tag me on social media and don’t forget to pin it or print it so you can find it easily next Thanksgiving.
